Since I spend more time in my kitchen than any other room in the house, I thought it would be fun to share some of what happens from silly mishaps to helpful time savers to our menu creations.

Ham bone soup follow up
The soup turned out fantastic. We wound up adding a total of 3 cans of black eyed peas and about 3 cups of white rice. It was simple, hearty and healthy.
"I work for a King. He has put me in charge of his home. When He comes to see how I have managed His possessions and His children, I do not want to be found wanting. I want to do my best. Everything I have is on loan from Him. I have room and board and a job to do, but it is all for Him. Therefore I want to dress my best and do my best in all my work. I also want to be creative, for this is a sincere attempt to glorify Him and His beautiful creation. How I manage my home is a form of worship to Him." --Lydia Sherman
I am a mama to 7 of the sweetest blessings EVER. I am truly, madly, and deeply in love with my high school sweetheart, Rich. In my spare time (hee hee) I enjoy reading, crocheting, cooking, and playing games with my children. I am always looking for more efficient and fun ways to be a better manager of our home.
